Journey to the World

The article is about Sebastião Salgado, a social documentary photographer, and photojournalist. The "Journey to the World" is about his experiences of documenting the hidden societies of those who live in poverty. I chose Salgado because he pointed out how photography to him is not about being pretty, but the story that is telling. The concept of the design is inspired by his photobooks and it aims to bringing attention to the narratives in his photographs with a minimal layout.
Learning Outcomes:
A successful design should be able to showcase and visually represent the content. There should not be any decorative elements unless it connects with the content. Some contents require a more extravagant layout but in my scenario, it's about bringing the narratives forward and allowing the audience to understand the importance of the photographs.
