Food waste has always been a concerning global issue for years now. The issue of food waste goes beyond the average consumer throwing away left over food. Ever since the pandemic hit, food insecurity has been rising as unemployment rates increase along with inflation occurring. Food Cowboy is a non-profit program that acts to connect third parties that handle large quantities of food to charities allowing surplus food to be donated.
