Compositions

I have created 40 digital based compositions before midterm based on 4 different design theme (1. Symmetries and Patterns/Tessellations 2. Color Compositions 3. Emphasis Compositions 4. Mashups) introduced by Maura Bendett in the first 4 weeks. Each design theme includes 5 concepts. I have created 2 different compositions for each concept. After midterm we will be choosing 3 compositions out of 40 to develop into 3 midterm projects.

Learning Outcomes:

After creating 2d based design following the rules from Design 2 lessons, I understand how various artworks are formed and the element that makes an artwork outstanding and attractive among the many. In this class, I have learned topics from Symmetry/Patterns, Color Composition, and Emphasis Composition to Mashup Compositions. Knowing the elements of forming a 2d graphic can help improve my User Interface and User Experience design projects in the future.
