Destruction in Dimensions
Destruction in Dimensions is an exhibition exploring how artists have been recontextualizing destruction since the early twentieth-century. By deconstructing the core of destructive art, these artists had discovered different interpretations and practice on why and how to use destruction in various parts of their creative process. It addresses society’s unhealthy fascination with destruction, as well as the negative impact of machinery on our existence.
Learning Outcomes:
I mainly learned about curating a series of artworks under a concept, and creating a coherent body of work with visuals and typography. The most challenging part was the introducing a visual system to the book structure and visual treatments that connects to my concept.
