Fruit Bowl

This is a larger sized fruit bowl I created on a lathe. I glued two blocks of wood together to carve a large bowl from on the lathe, then used a drill and then dremel to create the rounded patter on the sides of the bowl to imitate nature, based on my explorations for our exoskeletal architecture inspired midterm.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a tremendous amount about wood working to create this bowl, as well as how to finish and seal it and created the desired final look I want. I used various wood working techniques to create the shape of the bowl and round it out and sand it to create a natural feeling to the form.
