Life Balance

The concept behind this project is life balance, and for this project I chose to focus on depicting a style of microphone commonly used in podcasting to represent my love for listening to comedy podcasts, and a stack of dishes to communicate my hatred of the consistent chore I have to do of washing my dishes and an energy drink to represent the fact that I cannot seem to escape needing to rely on a source of energy.
Learning Outcomes:
From this project I learned a lot about animating in Cinema 4D and compositing in After effects, especially about building a dynamic animation similar to a character animation with the motion of the microphone, and using cloners and random effectors to quickly build animations of lots of similar objects. I also gained experience with rendering and lighting my scene and incorporating sound design.
