These are the corresponding posters and short film for the Zine I designed for the class, focusing on the chosen artist of Kenneth Anger and the chosen contrasting subject of black holes. I designed these posters using more of the analog photography I created to depict black holes, where I recorded slow-motion videos of light reflections from silver bowls, dropping food coloring into a blender, throwing a ball into a bathtub, or photographing bubbles I created in clear aloe vera gel bottles.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a lot about analog image creation in order to create a lot of imagery depicting something I thought would initially only be possible to depict through using telescope imagery.
