Weeping Flowers

A year and a half ago, I experienced a shattering sudden loss. In a grief-stricken state, I created this series, “Weeping Flowers”. So that one day I could look back and remind myself of the painful journey of healing. Now that some time has passed, I look at these photos and wonder why they are not as devastating as I had intended for them to be. I’ve come to realize that depicting the grief that I was feeling was difficult because behind all of the pain and hurt there was love.
