NEVIS | Transportable Retail Experience

NEVIS reimagines the retail experience by bringing the store directly to you. As shopping continues to blur between online and in-person, NEVIS envisions how the retail journey will evolve over the next 15 years.

Process:

In this project, I was involved in the interactions between the customer and NEVIS and most graphics. Jack Li created all the renderings of the vehicle.

Learning Outcomes:

This project was unique in that it was my first time designing something for the future. I had to learn to research and predict what shopping could look like in 2035, looking at trends both in the present and past. With that, it was fun to explore multiple possibilities with the retail experience and having existing technology not limit my team and me. For credit, I did not work on the final renderings of NEVIS, but aided in the overall vision of NEVIS, any visual design elements, and all interactive screens that the project needed. Throughout the process, me my team and I had multiple meetings each week to figure out many things, ideation, research, workload, etc. We each expressed what we wanted out of this project and combined our different talents to create a multi-media vision to best represent our idea.
