Layouts & Backgrounds

A collection of Illustrations including layouts and backgrounds that I created throughout my school term.

Process:

After taking the Summer 24 Term for Background Painting for Animation, I really enjoy drawing out layouts with stylized linework to make sure my painting is based on them. Drawing with such specific and delicate line work, which requires a lot of time and effort to make it feel what my world-building would look like at the end of the day. 

And I applied how I work in my personal projects as well.

Learning Outcomes:

I learned that creating layouts for any project I worked on is part of the animation pipeline, serving as a guide before the final painting.
