Internet Archive

Internet Archive is a free online resource with millions of free texts, movies, software, music, websites, and more. This rebrand re-imagines Internet Archive as Archive, an accessible, trustworthy safe space for the curious and creative. It focuses on Archive's ability to take the analog and digitally refine it, making it accessible for all. Cached, Refreshed.

Process:

Through research I discovered that Internet Archive scans in analog books and refines them digitally. This inspired me to lean into Internet Archive's innovative potential as a historical preservation organization. I used a simple pixel to show that something small can make up a bigger piece through powers of 10. My logo leans into this transformation from analog to digital. It starts pixelated and gets more refined as it moves from left to right.

Learning Outcomes:

Through this project, I learned how to creative a cohesive brand identity that tells a conceptual story.
