Oh! Mija

(TASK—beverage packaging) While spending a month in Korea, I was delighted by the cafe culture, especially a drink called omija tea. Light and refreshing, sweet and sour, and with numerous health benefits, it is the perfect drink for summer days and could be found anywhere—from high end cafes to convenience stores. I set out to challenge myself by designing a traditional Korean drink for an American audience and bridge my cultural background with experiences through design.
Learning Outcomes:
cultural bridge: drawing from my culture and specific experience to design for an American audience. demographic studies: market research of beverages in Korea vs America. revising: working through iterations and variations.
