The Donggyeong dog (and other endangered histories of Korea)

My sister (a CMU Design Grad) and I were discussing our relation to Korea's history when this project started. As Korean Americans born and raised in the US, we recognize our distance from Korea and its history, and attempt to bridge this gap. Through research, we found that a lot of Korea's history is endangered, covered, or lost because of Japanese colonization. This project aims to share these often overlooked stories through input and action from our community.
Learning Outcomes:
Learning how to: collaborate with my sister, research cultural histories and translate into design project, spread awareness through design, engage community through a project. This project is very much still in the early phases :-)
