Mari y Juana® is a California based cannabis-infused foods company entering the CBD marketplace with a Michelada Mix, its first product containing no THC. There are many readily available michelada options, both pre-mixed cans and just-add-beer spice blends. Mari y Juana® opted for the iconic Styrofoam cup with Tajin on its rim. My role was to design the packaging for the easy to make CBD-infused Michelada Mix. (Offset-litho sheet printed using 2PMS & 4-Color Process.)
Learning Outcomes:
I learning how to make apply graphics to a simple, yet more challenging form. It could have been square, but that wouldn't look good, so by taking the time take down all measurements of a cup, I was able to apply graphics to cone shaped object to better serve its packaging needs. I also learned how to create colorful and eye-catching graphics, all while maintaining a consistent brand identity. I learned how to use Adobe Dimension through self taught explorations of the program.
