Plankton vs Plantin

In my Type 2 class, we were individually assigned a specific typeface and tasked with creating a type specimen book and poster for it. I was assigned the typeface Plantin, and because it sounded a lot like Plankton (the antagonist character from the cartoon TV show Spongebob), I thought it would be fun to create a driving design theme around that idea. Here are the final results.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to really have fun with type in exploring all assets neccesarry for a successful type specimen book and poster. Printing proofs you really helped me understand ideal point sizes for the poster as well. I learned how to balance a creative idea with required deliverables.
