Composition Assignment

This is my first Project in Design 2 class. We had to develop composition with historical reference through color research. Creating composition with color balance, Designing compositions with color emphasis and hierarchy is very important thing in this class. We choose six of sixteen and produce three version of each. I took Asymmetrical balance, pattern, rhythm, optical mixing, kinetic energy, and depth.
Learning Outcomes:
First of all, I've learn about composition with color. I prefer to use various colors, but I was not good at how to organize them. It was new and interesting to design three different works through various themes. I could learn better about how to develop with this.
This title is 'Asymmetrical Balance'. 1. Inspired by the Deconstructivism architecture and emphasized it using complementary colors. 2. the contrast between day and night. 3. Asymmetric expression by destroying the structure of typography.

This title is 'Rhythm' 1. Psychedelic representation of photos from the festival site. 2. It expresses the dance moves of 'Seungmu(a dance in Buddhist attire)', a traditional Korean dance. Five Colors are representative of Korea. 3. Echo the sound from music.
