The Life of a Fire

“The Life of a Fire” is a series of projects based around the personality of a fire. These stories are in the form of an anthology, showcasing fire as a character. These illustrations portray challenges, moments of joy, and curiosity that fire endures throughout its lifetime.
Learning Outcomes:
A lot of skills used to create this collection consisted of a variety of mediums from screen printing, storybooks, digital illustrations, as well as analog materials using color pencils and crayons. Each texture, size, and expression of the character was considered in different scenarios to portray situations that were difficult to escape, troubling emotional states, and origins of the character.
