Libera

My thesis, Libera, is an exploration of the practice of graphic design as a vital partner for the development and rejuvenation of nations that have faced extreme challenges. Within my project I decided to introduce Venezuela, my homeland, as the protagonist for this experiment. My beloved nation is enduring a challenging era marked by a deep rooted crisis. In reaction, over 7.7 million Venezuelans have left the country, losing their sense of trust and optimism for what lies ahead.
Learning Outcomes:
To harness the power of graphic design as an agent for progress in Venezuela, I decided to establish LIBERA, a non-profit organization founded on the methodology of collaborative graphic design for good. Libera is dedicated to providing graphic design services universally accessible to various entities that are positively impacting Venezuela. My mission is to leverage design as a tool for societal betterment to build a more beautiful, just, and nurturing nation.
