Forgetting Arabic Poetry

An immersive experience that "spatializes" the unexplored artform of Arabic poetry. Located in Dubai International airport --Forgetting Arabic Poetry-- is created as a moment of pause for today’s common soul, the traveler seeking inspiration and meaning in today's busy world. The project explores the intersection of memory, culture, and language through the use of abstract and sensory spaces derived from the elements that make up Arabic poetry.
