Fablewood

Fall 2025 Graduation Project based on personal IP. "Fablewood" is a collection of beat boards and an animatic about a young girl getting used to her new life living with her aunt and uncle in a fairy-tale character overrun spin on Hollywood. 

Process:

Began with research and foundational environment sketches and extensive character ideation. Character designs were finalized through character story sketches before I thumbnailed both the beat boards and the storyboard sequence.  

Learning Outcomes:

I learned to trust myself as a writer and designer and I learned the importance of choosing an illustrative style that best compliments the narrative.
