Huntington
Huntington is a multi-faceted cultural institution with a long history, offering a library and a diverse set of art galleries and botanical gardens. This identity refresh seeks to provide a flexible system by which a distinct pattern-based visual language can describe the brand in place of a static logo mark. In doing so, the system can speak to not only the diverse offerings of the intuition but its rich and vast collection, spanning many cultures, geographies, and time periods.
Learning Outcomes:
One major learning outcome from this project was in finding the right amount of flexibility in the expression of the visual identity system so that it can operate most effectively across different touchpoints without losing its distinct character or becoming complex to communicate.
