haiku reflection

From July 14-16, I attended a conference titled: "Making Space: A Workshop on Space, SciArt, & Society." One workshop instructed us to use alternative methods / mediums of art-making to interpret outer space in a new way. I chose the medium of poetry (specifically, a Haiku format) to articulate a scientific abstract in more concise and artistic terms.
Learning Outcomes:
During this workshop, we only had an hour to come up with our work of art / craft a reflection. The limited amount of time that we were given was something that actually freed me from focusing too much on the minutiae of typography. Ultimately, my goal was to create a layout that blends science with artistry, and to communicate a complex scientific process in simpler / more accessible terms. Science doesn't have to be boring!
