I’ve always been passionate about plants, sustainability, and all things nature. I’m also a lover of food, and happen to have a sweet tooth. So, for Project One, I’ve created a line of five botanical chocolate bars. Each product incorporates a different edible plant ingredient, each of which are native to southern California’s Coastal Sage Scrub ecosystem. This line of chocolate bars is designed to educate fellow Angelenos about the treasures that may be found in our natural surroundings.
Learning Outcomes:
I achieved lots of feats! I not only designed a brand and logo that I'm quite happy with, but I also gained experience using technology like the Kongsberg machine. It was fun to learn how to incorporate what we've been learning in typography and studio classes into the realm of a 3D printed object. This was a class where I continued to learn the value of good craftsmanship as well. I'm pleased with what I accomplished and excited to keep improving in this realm.
