“Arrival” explores the potential for communication between extraterrestrial beings and linguists. I was drawn to the structured, direct nature of their exchange—and translated that clarity into a raw, brutalist aesthetic that visualizes the progression of understanding. The sequence was created primarily using photography and digital compositing.
