A Melodramatic Coming of Age Story about a young woman named Iris. She has one last attempt at save her aging dog's life. Iris is 20 and about to turn 21. As Iris comes of age she associates her dying dog with her fading youth. Arguments with her father about putting Lucky down exacerbates. The health of her dog coincides with her relationship with her father. After receiving a pre-written birthday card from her deceased mother, she's able to find peace within her self once again.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to Write, Direct, Produce and efficiently find solutions to problems. I discovered how to tell my story in effective ways through images. I learned intense planning, communicating with cast and crew, quick decision making, how to work under pressure and be in the moment. The long days and rough times are worth it at the end of the day.
