It's Everywhere!

Even high-end food can contain microplastics. This sequence aims to make the audience question the contents of all foods and what we consume. By showing a chef preparing fine dining Omakase sushi with plastics in it, we reveal the pervasive issue of microplastics. Ultimately, a customer eats the sushi, unaware that the rest of their meal contains microplastics. This highlights the hidden dangers in our foods and encourages viewers to reconsider what they consume.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned the key to strong storytelling through tone, color, and shape language, highlighting the friction between two juxtaposed elements and making a powerful point through discomfort.
