A24 (WIP)

This is a self-initiated project for A24; an American independent entertainment company that specializes in stylish, distinctive, and unique indie movies. The identity system begins with a logo featuring a wordmark within a 16:9 square, reflecting the aspect ratio used in movies and TV. The identity communicates the dramatic and stylish essence of A24 through dynamic changes in typography scale, using squares as image containers, boxes, and various graphic elements.
Learning Outcomes:
I started on this project out of a desire to explore commercial branding, as I tend to be drawn to cultural aspects of graphic design. Working on this project has helped me to learn the commercial needs and power of graphic design. I've learned to communicate through clear imagery scale changes of typography.
