Mean Girls Redesign

We were assigned a project to pick a film, and redesign the characters within it while taking inspiration from the new culture's traditional clothing. I chose Mean Girls, and I decided to give each one a different Modern take on their traditional outfits. 

Process:

I picked three very different girls from the movie, and gave each one a different ethnicity. I gave Karen Korean, Regina Chinese, and Cady half Black and half Japanese. I gathered many photos of each traditional clothing, and accessories as well as modern clothing and combined the two.

Learning Outcomes:

The art of mixing different cultures and ideas, and creating something completely new.
