Furever

Furever is a welcome-home kit designed for first-time dog adopters, helping make the transition from shelter to home smooth and stress-free. It ensures every rescued dog feels safe, supported, and truly at home forever.

Process:

The design process for Furever began with defining the topic: creating a supportive welcome-home kit for first-time dog adopters. I researched the emotional and practical challenges new adopters face, from bonding and uncertainty to preparing a safe home—and established five guiding keywords: beginner, home, care, companion, and responsibility. These emotional pillars were then translated into visual language through color, form, tone, and material choices that feel reassuring and inviting.

Learning Outcomes:

Through the Furever project, I strengthened my ability to translate emotional intentions into visual language, exploring how color, form, and tone can convey comfort, warmth, and reassurance for both adopters and pets. I deepened my user-centered research skills by studying the emotional and practical needs of first-time dog adopters, and learned to define clear design pillars using five key emotional keywords.
