Vanishing Light

Vanishing Light features 10 different aspects of Cantonese culture in chronological order. From the early Chinese Revolution to an experimental Cantonese publication, the project gathers fragments of a culture that often appears incomplete, fading, or scattered across media and memory. Vanishing Light began as a way to collect those fragments and reframe them through editorial design. It is a project about documenting a culture, but it is also about my own relationship to it.
