Pulse Box

Pulsebox is an immersive installation. It blends Berlin’s vibrant underground techno culture with spatial and interaction design. The spatial design is inspired by the industrial aesthetics of Berlin’s club scene, creating adaptable and acoustically optimized spaces. The interaction design integrates responsive technologies, allowing users to engage with sound, light, and spatial elements, transforming the experience into a dynamic and personal journey.
Learning Outcomes:
This project taught me how design can bridge emotional and geographical distance. I explored how sound can become a cultural medium, and how physical objects can hold collective memory. Working with both hardware and interaction logic, I learned to prototype immersive systems that invite people into a shared, intimate experience. Most importantly, I discovered how deeply a city can live inside its people—and how design can give that life a voice.
