Are You Looking Up

An illustration based on the lyrics of Mk.gee’s “Are You Looking Up.” The piece focuses on the struggle to stay authentic when you’re weighted down by the pressure to perform or conform. I built the composition around the line: “Somebody to give her new light / With the heaviest weight on.” It reflects that desperate search for a “miracle” and the exhaustion of constantly looking up for an answer.
