Moon Rabbits
A painting of my own interpretation of the Asian myth of the moon rabbit. In the original story, the rabbit is often shown on the moon pounding ingredients to create medicine or an elixir, sometimes tied to immortality. I reimagined this narrative by shifting the roles—depicting the moon rabbits as the ones conducting experiments, using humans to create robots. The piece plays with the contrast between myth and sci-fi, transforming a familiar story into something more unsettling and speculative.
