Sainte Colombe

Sainte Colombe specimen booklet and poster presents the new serif-face Sainte Colombe designed by Production Type in 2018. The booklet contains information about Sainte Colombe and the filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro with his film "Pan's Labyrinth". The poster shows the big scale letterform and introduces brief information of the typeface:: category, creator, publication, and date.
Learning Outcomes:
I really enjoyed this project from the start of researching this new type-face and find the beauty of its letterform. Also, we had to watch and gather information about filmmaker to bring the visual concept and color theme, which pushes me not to only focusing on type layouts, but also truly understand the typeface and its aesthetic forms combining with unique visuals of the filmmaker.
