Reverse Application Patterns

Using my own existing stories, The Cat in the Window and The Perfect Pebble, I created two patterns inspired by and using elements from those stories. Once the patterns were finalized, I applied them to fabric and sewed them into usable items.

The Perfect Pebble pattern. I decided to make it a toss pattern, with line work that is colored in.

The Perfect Pebble pattern applied to a dress I sewed. The dress style was inspired by Miss Frizzle's dress from the Magic School Bus.

The Cat In The Window pattern. It has an up and down, but I wanted to keep the feel of a toss pattern so I placed the elements in a playful way. Unlike the Perfect Pebble Pattern, I decided to focus only on line work for this pattern.

The Cat In The Window pattern. I wanted to make something else other than a dress, so I made it into a small bag.
