Book design: from research to print

In my communication design 3 class, we were given the choice to research whatever topic we like, under the theme of de-colonization, breaking down the patterns and being observant as a professional designer, and critical thinker. 

From ideation to pitching the theme to the class and professor, I learned to reason with my heart and head, learning to find a balance while presenting. As for the physical production pipeline of the book and researching the contents, that was spread over the span of 6-8 weeks before sending it off to a print shop to print and bind the book. 

It was a long project, but a project that I will never forget.
