Communication Design 2: Forgotten Youth

The zine, Forgotten Youth is a contrast between an artist of a choice chosen from the provided list in class, Yoko Ono, and another contrasting idea, Billie Eilish. Youtube Video linked below explaining my entire transmedia project.
Learning Outcomes:
While Creating this full project of different media, I learned many different software and keeping a consistent theme. Creating a zine for this project was intense because of the number of zine styles/themes that I had to brainstorm with. I ended up choosing the red/peach background to go with Yoko Ono's Pomegranate Book while playing with the type about her loud voice.

In the first poster, aperature changes from focus to the background to the foreground. The second is visually related to synesthesia which is a condition that refers specifically to perceptual experience that includes mixing of senses. Billie Eilish has this Synesthesia which is considered a gift.

Billie Eilish Filter Demo - This was created on Facebook's Spark AR Studio This filter is themed on the mind of a neurodivergent mind. She is fearless but feels like someone that isn't herself and I created the background to correlate with her synesthesia adding a lot of colors. The crown is a symbol she uses throughout her music such as the "you should see me in a crown" song.
Billie Eilish Filter Demo - This was created on Facebook's Spark AR Studio This filter is themed on the mind of a neurodivergent mind. Unlike her, Yoko Ono is older and does not have a form of synesthesia so I added a voice bit crusher to add a rustic feel and a box television. The filter is also in black and white to contrast the other filter I created.
