TOHO Animation

TOHO Animation is an animation label based in Tokyo, Japan, acting as a distributor of numerous anime projects. This project explores how a legacy anime label could push its boundaries to reflect the inquisitive spirit.

Process:

The mission was to bring TOHO Animation closer to the fanbase it loves. The answer was a brand system built from the inside out—rooted in research, shaped by the visual energy of anime, and expressed through an iconography system that gives TOHO a new visual language to grow with.

Learning Outcomes:

I learned how to establish a dynamic visual system and enhance it further with a streamlined motion system.
