Blue Velvet
A title sequence, that was based on the film with the idea of the things happening in the film feeling reactionary. The concept for the sequence was aftermath to show how everything in the film ended up scaring everyone and no one being the same.
Process:
While trying to learn how to shoot fire, I need to learn how exactly to burn a polaroid as it was plastic so it would get let for about a second or two before it put itself out. so I had to test shoot the fire and different methods of keeping the polaroid on fire. Also testing ways to safely have a photo burning in doors and show where dark to get the pictures. When all said and done I would then take the pictures to Lightroom and photoshop to add the final touch.
Learning Outcomes:
Things that I took away from this project was how to properly use a camera to take pictures of fire. Then a some what working knowledge of how to use Lightroom to fix images from the color correction to the highlight and shadows of an image.
