It delves into Indonesia’s linguistic diversity, with over 700 languages that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia. The site explores the key language systems shaping Indonesia’s identity, tracing the historical roots of Bahasa Indonesia while highlighting efforts to preserve regional dialects and Indigenous languages.

I explored how vernacular typography serves as a digital expression of Indonesia’s graphic design history. I examined the connection between historical events and the evolution of the Indonesian language, highlighting their impact over time. Additionally, I incorporated a photo essay showcasing street vendor signage (PKLs) across different regions, allowing users to explore the diverse visual expressions that define Indonesia’s urban landscape.
