Nikon Identity
An identity system that explored ideas relevant and representative of Nikon, a leading brand in the imaging and optics industry. The system translates Nikon's commitment to precision into a structured, grid-based system to reinforce clarity and consistency. Recognizing the need for adaptability, a dynamic identity was developed to shift seamlessly between minimal and maximal expressions. These expressions were applied across different mediums, digitally and physically.
Learning Outcomes:
This project reaffirmed my belief that design, like photography, is a powerful tool for accessibility—framing stories, evoking emotions, and creating experiences that resonate across perspectives. Creating a brand guideline for the identity system also allowed for the expansion of its applications beyond print. The use of square grids and modular patterns further enhance the identity system altogether.
