THE PINK PAPER

THE PINK PAPER is a zine that takes a witty, ironic look at feminism today, blending humor with insight on gender equality, intersectionality, and body positivity. Issue #1: I'm Just a Girl pairs quirky Sonny Angels with bold articles that challenge stereotypes and spark conversation. With a mix of satire and serious discussion, it invites readers to engage with feminist ideas in a fun, approachable way.
Learning Outcomes:
In this zine, I learned how to play with the rules of design—bending them to create compositions that highlight ironic and witty content while still maintaining legibility. I explored ways to let graphic reactions and memes take center stage without sacrificing clarity. Most importantly, I learned how to have fun with design. Even while using graphic design to communicate feminist messages, I found joy in creating visuals that are fun, relatable, and engaging.
