Zero 7

I was assigned to redesign the debut album Simple Things of an English duo called Zero 7. Redesigned items included CD, LP, posters, a motion poster, T-shirt, and a tote bag. The assignment requirement was to approach abstraction. Thus, I decided to start with all the simple things in my daily life. I took pictures of bath loofah, plate waste, and my rabbit's fur, then I photoshopped them to explore their artistry and turned them into covers and posters.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned that not all products in the music industry need artists' faces on the cover. Sometimes the message can be conveyed better without literal elements. Moreover, I learned that a type lockup can intensify the layout and acts as an ornament.
