AMNH Designmatters - Through the Pokot Lens

Museums worldwide face growing pressure to address their historic entanglements with racism, colonialism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression. In collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, we focused on the 1968 "Man in Africa" Hall, we wanted to explore ways to help visitors engage with the hall’s historical context, the narratives it depicts, and broader questions about museums' roles in society.
