The Cool Wave

This project was a brochure project done in Communication Design 1. We were asked to create a brochure and imagery based on the 1960's. I decided to make my imagery with liquid light show materials, often something related to the 1960's psychedelic art. With oil dye, food coloring, alcohol, and glycerin, I was able to create a liquid light show imagery for the cover for my brochure.
Learning Outcomes:
It was my first time really delving in with analogue materials. It was a challenge to be able to express a certain decade within my brochure yet make it look interesting to the audience as well. Through trial and error, I learned to constantly try different experimentations in order to create imagery that can be completely different.
