Everything Everywhere All at Once
This is a title sequence design for the film Everything Everywhere All at Once that explores Joy’s life before her transformation into Jobu Tupaki. It begins by illustrating her everyday experiences at the family’s laundry business, setting the stage for the following dramatic changes. As Joy discovers the existence of the multiverse, the sequence style shifts from reality 3D render to illustration, differentiating the two worlds while reflecting her mental status.
Throughout the sequence, viewers witness the disintegration of Joy's relationship with her mother, marked by numerous unhappy interactions that gradually lead her toward a sense of emptiness and nihilism. The conclusion of this narrative arc is represented by a looping effect, subtly hinting at the inevitable emergence of Jobu Tupaki.
