YUNSHEN

Yunshen (Cloud Deep) is a healing wellness space that brings the natural spirit of Yunnan, China, into the urban fabric of tech-centric Shenzhen. Our goal is to let people slow down in Shenzhen based on Yunnan's natural elements.

Process:

YUNSHEN's site is located in Shenzhen, China, a fast-growing city with many high-tech companies. On the other hand, Yunnan city keeps its original geography’s landscape and diverse culture much better than Shenzhen. In this way, we want to bring the nature back to Shenzhen. Utilize transition spaces to feel reborn and healed. For material, bring people closer to natural lands with earthy materials. Using gentle materials to welcome people to touch and feel protected, and pliable materials, lets people feel flexible and breathable.

Learning Outcomes:

Concept development, 3d visualtzition and critical thinking.
