To create a satisfying user experience with aesthetically pleasing and practical design, our products are poised to turn every hair care ritual into a calming, inspirational moment. With our line, we aim to cater to the unique needs of the modern millennial, instilling tranquility and self-care into their fast-paced lifestyle. I aim to challenge myself by transforming poorly designed packaging into a sustainable solution that addresses key pain points.
Learning Outcomes:
Redesigning OGX gave me a deeper understanding of the packaging design process. I progressed from 3D prototyping and rendering to creating rough foam prototypes, then moved to physical 3D printing, followed by multiple rounds of sanding and priming. I sourced custom spray paint to match the color palette and applied transparent labels to complete the final look.
