Learning Outcomes:
In this installation, I wanted to speak on the importance of memory and not leaving the past behind. This piece is about reconnecting with my relatives even though it was embarrassing because it had been a while. I didn’t realize that it meant as much to me as it meant to them. I grew up idolizing them and being inspired by them. A lot of what I became was influenced by them. I lived with them when I was around 2 years old until I was about 4. In my eyes, they have always had great potential.
