Nunca Olviden, Don’t forget the beauty you have inside your soul

This piece has brought me to a closer point of understanding with my Mexican-American identity and how it impacts my external experiences in the United States. Which has broadened my view for how the low-funded education system in the US has damaged minorities more severely. Even further, how this lack of educational funding at the lower level disproportionately hinders their ability for reaching their full potential in the future without special circumstances.
